Psychological portraits of women. Present on selected examples.

Another, The figure is worth discussing the figure, Main boater of Maria Kuncewicz's novel titled “Foreigner”. Her real name is Ewelina. We meet her as sixty years old “old lady”, wife, Mother of the Two, adults already children, artist and violinist. Rose's life was formed under the influence of the subconscious pursuit of revenge for the imaginary harm of the girl. Because in her youth she survived the unhappy love and betrayal of Michał, which influenced all her love, hate, shaping family ties, with loved ones and with the whole surroundings. She was liable to everything, what could somehow connect with old love, what even in the slightest extent, Michał could remind her of her. At the same time, she hated the rest. Disappointed hopes, unfulfilled dreams caused, that the rose with all his strength tried to build a barrier separating it from reality. “All, The world is all begged for me forever!!! Miserable, unfortunate, Born in a bad moment.” She felt foreign and incomprehensible everywhere, even, Or rather, especially among loved ones. As Kuncewiczowa writes, “She decided to take revenge. In Poland, where the misfortune happened to her, And on men. Beauty shone on her like a princely outfit, Everyone on the street turned their heads. She did not want pretty panic or powerful old people, That's what she wanted: quiet, Nothing significant Adam, to blame his beauty, like a crushing boulder. That he could not offer her anything in exchange for a cruel gift or pleasure, or wealth so that she would not have to be grateful for anything. She wanted such a passive St. Petersburg student with Darwin under her arm, with the picture of Częstochowska in her pocket, with Kacapska beard and romantic, The Vistula heart”. Marriage was an element of revenge. Eroticism got rid of, in favor of tormenting unfulfilled dreams. The author writes: “Two children were born, shredded at the darkest night. During the day Adam did not have an accession to his wife, She was bustling around the house according to a foreign time, no confidentiality understanding. She coquettled with every move, every cold word. She stimulated to envy, because she was just as decorative and irritating to all men.
At night she lay stationary. Should she make it easier for Adam to possess? Was her body not smooth and pink enough, that its sight would be a prey without a price?”
She still remembered the moments spent with Michał, and also his admiration for her classic nose: “(…)Michał(…)without taking his eyes off the Blacky cheeks, He turned the rose gently to the light of the lamps and whispered in a prayer tone:
– Look, Look- this, This nose…*”
She loved to moult about the injustice of the world, The beauty of music and moonlight. Aggressive, hysterical and quarrelsome shrew. Unpleasant to the world. She adapted the whole surroundings to its preferences, She put everyone in the corners, she interfered with the personal life of her loved ones. She seemed to be a nightmare for her children and husband, Nevertheless, none of them could oppose and curb this terror. She did not come true as a mother(He hates his daughter, Dissatisfied with the life of her son), nor as a wife, because she didn't love Adam. Also in his career, the violinist did not succeed.
This old woman filled with bitterness, On the day of his death, he undergoes a metamorphosis. The rose frees itself from its fears and agrees with fate, Thanks to the meeting with Dr. Gerhardt, which her compliments about her “classic nose.” These words seemed to wake her from sleep. He is sixteen again and thinks, that she's all her life before her. He wants to change, becomes quiet and humble. He recalls his life and causes of disasters. In the last moments with his loved ones he asks them to forgive.

The rose appears to us as a woman haughty and nightmarish-she was in beauty, However, it is like a ticking bomb. You never know how to behave. Will it be pity, whether it criticizes. In his relations with loved ones, he destroys their psyche, he urges and laughs. She did not come true as a woman. Turns out to be a bad mother, wife. He doesn't make a violinist's career. Is only successful as an element of men's desire. As an elusive purpose of the admirers. Ewelina is an incredibly unhappy and unfulfilled woman. Her whole life is guided by hatred and a desire for revenge. Immediately before his death he experiences a metamorphosis, which becomes a salvation for her soul and asks for the forgiveness of loved ones.

The motif of a woman in literature is extremely popular. We find insightful portraits of perfect wives, mothers, loving daughters. Wonderful women, heroic. But in my presentation I wanted to present three specific portraits of women. Each of the heroines discussed differently, Each of them was different. And yet something connects them. They are all unusual forms. We could judge them as bad, hateful, cynical, which only hurt everyone around. It is not difficult to admire and understand happy women, Full of sacrifices for the family, husband, kids. It's easy to present a loving woman, fulfilled, satisfied. However, the women discussed by me are unhappy characters, which do not distinguish dreams from reality. Despite the captivating beauty, They experience unhappy love, or they cannot find satisfaction alongside the one. They are only the object of sexual sighs of men. They are surrounded by people, which they do not understand. They live with memories. They are willing to exaggerate problems, focus on their harm, which they think they experience through the world around them. Unfulfilled or in the role of mother, daughters, wives, nor professionally, they cannot find themselves in the realities of life, So they run to their dreams, to your imaginary reality. They build a tight barrier and a gate in front of the world. They don't allow themselves to be lucky, They prefer to melt in sorrows, regrets and claims against the world.
