The writer passed the high school diploma. During World War I he stayed in Vienna, where he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts for several months. Soon, however, he returned to Drohobych. He was constantly dealing with artistic activities. Initially, it was painting and drawing, later he also dealt with writing. From 1924 r. He worked as a drawing teacher, manual works and mathematics at the Junior High School in Drohobycz.
