Bora
From autumn 1998 Volkswagen has been enriched with the Bora model. It is dynamic, a four-door sedan built on the basis of the Golf.
Bora has 15-inch rims and wide tires as standard 195 mm. Sporty, but at the same time the comfortable chassis guarantees safe driving behavior. Bora is offered with many engines, starting with the fuel-efficient TDI diesel engine with power 66 kW / 90 KM, and ending with the engine 2,3 V5 with the power of i 10 kW / 150 KM.
Bora ma 4.38 meter in length, fully galvanized body with 12 year warranty against perforation corrosion. The careful workmanship of the car inside and out is a proof of Volkswagen's consistent adherence to the principle of the highest quality of its vehicles.
The richly equipped interior can accommodate five people. 3The ora is fitted with driver and passenger airbags as standard, front side airbags, ABS and disc brakes on the front and rear wheels. The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) can also be installed upon request.
Golf and Bora models with front-wheel drive only use rear axle suspension with interlocking trailing arms. To make better use of the interior of the vehicle, the coil springs and shock absorbers are placed separately (previous models used suspension legs). As a result, the luggage compartment is wider. The Golf and Bora models with all-wheel drive feature multi-link rear suspension, with trailing arms and crossbars.
