Transport of children aged 1-4 years in the car

CHILDREN AT AGE 1-4 LAT – The treatment of slightly older children is basically the same as for infants. The skeletal system is still flaccid, the head also dominates in mass and size over the rest of the body. The older child communicates better, it is busier, he wants to sit or stand, he is keenly interested in his surroundings. The seat must be larger and adapted to a greater body weight. It is still supposed to be a rearward-facing design and only mounted in this position. Now a different method of immobilizing the child in the seat will be used. Harness-type belts must be used instead of the "vest", modeled on solutions from performance cars. When traveling with an older child, it is extremely important to ensure contact with the guardian, to reduce the anxiety of the little passenger.
